transmission fluid?

Default transmission fluid?

just bought a new short throw shifter do i need to drain the transmission fluid to install correct or no, thanks

Nope, but i would recomend it. When i installed my steeda tri-ax i did. Not that hard to do. I used royal purple tranny fluid in it. With the combination of it and the new shifter it shifts better then ever before. My advice spend the extra $50 on royal purple. However, thats all up to u though.

thanks guys just got a new mgw and have been told both ways ill go ahead and drain it anyway but i just wondered.
