i ran a z28 m6 3 times on monday. we were even every time from a dig or roll. i even pulled about a foot in 3rd once. he had a lid and catback. i have o/r xpipe, catback, k&n, 75mm tb, plenum and a diablo sport. 04 GT. i second the Mach idea though, i am working on trading for one now.

Hey Bill why not a nice Mach I? You get the 4V motor which is more responsive to mods... imo, has a little better looks than the GT (and I owned one, still think the Mach I is a very sexy car). It has the solid axle if your interested in the strip. I promise, ladies like the Mach I... it turns heads anywhere it goes. Shaker ftw.
i want a mach 1 sooo bad, azure blue ftw, but theyre just out of reach with higher insurance and me having to go to college and all....all of you guys have such in dept view points. ill read one persons post and be like, yeahhh ls1 why the hell not, then ill read another one and be like mustang, duh, wtf was i thinking lol. but anyhow thanks everyone for all your view points. i dont want 4:10s cuz im going to buy an auto (dont hate) and theres no way around the bag mpg. im going to check out 2 diffrent mustangs today, wish me luck lol. so from what you guys are saying, i can just dump about 1500 into a stang and be able to run with ls1s? also, anyone know how good/bad the SLP package is?

now, im torn between a ls1 f body and a 99-04 gt id much rather have the mustang but id rather have the speed of a ls1. theres a ls1 im going to look at tomorrow and a mustang im going to look at tomorrow. lets say i buy the mustang
what am i going to have to do to it to make it beat a ls1 and how much will that cost? (cheapest way)
i know that its a stupid question to ask but :-/ also, no 4:10s or nitrous uless NEEDED really use 4:10s as a last resourt but i know they're a must
thanks for the help guys
sorry for asking another stupid question [&o]
Cheapest way...buy the bucket I enjoy laying a smack down to LS1's.....LS WHAT
