one more issue. if i were to order these from online or local shop that does not do installs, would it be suggested for self installation or take it to a shop. i have some experience in dealing with auto repair, mainly government vehicles but never dealt with exhaust before.

Thankyou for posting that... now I know a few are starting to use it. Anyways, that should give you alot to choose from. I still need to add some more stuff to it, and that will probably be a work in progress later tonight.

rbstang You are the one who doesn't know **** about Mustangs.

Let me guess you think that a CAI on a 99-04 GT shows significant gains also don't ya.

And why did you need to explain what I did when I allready stated I welded in some mufflers.

Oh and I seen a whopping .95HP at 5,300rpm with just the mufflers

It's misleading information from people like you that make people waste money.

Yes, a cat-back will provide a lower tone due to the larger pipe but it will not prvide gains over weld-in's.

All of my information comes directly from research..

I can understand where you coming from... kind of so let me REPHRASE what i was saying before.

Um no. You can get up to about 7rwhp. which isnt bad cuz mustangs have terrible $/HP products.
I said you can get up to 7rwhp. Technically i did not lie... i just was unclear on how to get 7rwhp.

Stock Manifold Stock Midpipe Aftermarket Catback - Catback = 3rwhp
Stock manifold Catted Midpipe Aftermarket Catback - Catback = 4rwhp
Stock manifold O/R midpipe Aftermarket catback - Catback = 5rwhp

Your welcome... its all about personal taste when it comes to exhaust. Depending on your budget and what your looking for, you can get a real nice setup. Stainless steel is great to have and if you live in place where your gonna drive in the snow, its good to have... lasts much longer. So consider that as well into your decision.
