Ive been looking at late 80s mustangs and they all are procharge reverse rotation on the passenger side. Is there any reason i couldnt do that on a new edge?

Modulars already run Reverse Rotation blowers (Vortech/Paxton/ATI) so what you want to do is run a Regular Rotation blower from say a 5.0? They had to flip them on the modulars because of the limited space. You will need to fab up a new mounting bracket and piping but its doable...

tony what your saying is all of the procahrgers sc's are reverse rotation for new edge? If so i feel like a complete dumbass. I thought that there was no damn space and could see flipping it around.

What kind of SC are we talking about. Screw? or Centri or what?? If the Modular engine is reverse and the blower is reverse then wouldn't it just work without modification? If not then why not use the gear idea?

just a suggestion but what if you got a pulley with a gear behind it. Then mounted a gear on the blower pulley. Then mounted the two gears together and had the belt run on the pulley not connected to the blower

*/*\ /\=belt *=gears
thank GOD for that schematic, otherwise I'd be totally confused. [8D]

hahahahahahahahah.

well if modulars indeed run reverses, no problem, just some painstaking work...however

if you need to reverse it, flip it accross the engine from how most superchargers are mounted (custom bracket needed), from there run the piping to the front of the engine (intercooler hint hint) from there run it back up through the intake box hole in the fender up to the intake...A LOT of fabrication and a good amount of time to it, but from what i understand, not impossible
