First race with new motor 4.6 vs LS6

We went from a dig with a starter. I won the first one by 1 1/2 lengths he won the second by a 1/2 and we left it at that. I think it is a drivers race cause he is stock. I only have 11 more hp then him. I think we coulda stayed out there all night goin back and forth. But my goal with this car was to be able to beat one of these new vettes so im feeling pretty good. When i had my old motor they would kick my *** at the track every weekend. These guys did nuthin more then sign some paperwork drive off the lot and start beating on us lol. I got fed up went to my local speed shop and said "What do i have to do to beat these guys?" They said produce more than 500hp. So here i am 2yrs latter. Drinks on me guys. [sm=icon_cheers.gif]

nice... I see you have a tr 3650 tranny?? You are one brave man to be running that much power with that tranny!!! lol

how much did you spend in performance mods alone, after installation and all. if you dont keep a list try and ballpark it for me, im starting to make a list thingy of how much im looking to spend to be around your power amount. o yeah, how many miles are on your car?

Car came with the procharger but i had it changed from blow off to recurculate. Had all piping done (billet alumn.) And anderson powerpipe threw wheelwell. Ballpark for all my mods (and there are more than in my sig). 12k. Car had 32000 original miles on it when i changed motor. Motor alone was 7k and change. Most of the work i had done but if i could have done it myself it would have been half that i guess. I fergit who but someone in here tells it like it is "Cost lots of money to go fast" but so be it.
