Default Fast take offs: slipping vs. dumping the clutch

What are the advantages/disadvantages of both methods? With my limited knowledge and experience I'll try to guess first though:

slipping: safer method of launching, and alot easier on the clutch/drivetrain because you are not POPPING the clutch, so you aren't shocking it as much with so much power at once. Disadvantage is slower launch because you are slipping the clutch more rather than just dropping the clutch and gunning it.

dumping : harder on the drivetrain, lots of stress in a short period of time., however harder/quicker launches because you are bringing revs up and then just popping the clutch while you floor it.

you pretty much have to slip it every time on street tires. dumping the clutch will give you a slower time cuz you are just gonna spin ur *** off. even with drag radials

slipping- able to launch higher in the rpm, but also control the wheel spin.

Dumping the clutch- best 60' if you are hooking, and got everything built, but if your spinning using this method slipping the clutch is the best.

I was jumping the clutch on a 5k Two-Step, but I was spinning some. resulting in high 1.9's. dumping the clutch on a 4.5k Two Step I got low 1.9's.(but cant say i was totally hooking then either). and 4k was bogging some. This was on MT DR's 275/50/15's
