Default $300 to be installed?

What the ****? I called this very reputable shop called Performance Autosport and Mark told me that MAC's quality is crappy and stuff so it could take somewhere around 3-4 hours of install???? THats depressing as ****...maybe I should sell it and go my original Bassani route.

I'm guessing you're talking about headers?

Go to another shop. Many people have Mac stuff and have not had any problems. It's just some exhaust tubing any regular muffler shop can do it.

They just bolt up, right?

Just get yourself a cutoff saw (rent it if you have to), a socket set and some jack stands and take the $300, get a MGW shifter and take your girl out for a a nice dinner.

My welded in Flows were 400 installed with custom tubing.

Do not pay $300 for a catback install... keep looking. It is not something that specialized either, a regular mechanic could do it for you. Obviously if it was heads/cams work or something, you would need to take it to a good shop... but for a catback, search for a good price, a lot of people can do it.

There's nothing wrong with MAC stuff, they've been around a long time with a proven track record. Have you heard a MAC exhaust system? Doesn't sound like crap to me.

He probably has a warehouse full of Bassani stuff that he wants to sell.
