Gears, and Bearing Kit.
First of all I found these 4.10's I hear ford racing makes the best gears. Are these the best, and are they a good price?

Also I found this bearing kit.

My question is. . . is this everything I need to do this project? Also the guy I am taking it to is doing all the Labor for $175, is that a good price?

RE: Gears, and Bearing Kit.
yeah those are good prices you dont really need to replace all stuff that comes in the kit though most gear kits only come with the pinion bearin, seal and shims for the pinion and diff but it wouldnt hurt and thats a good install price as well good luck

yeah i would say thats not a bad install price. when i do my gears im going with 3.73 the bearing kit and the differental cover. its a good idea to do everything at once to prevent farther trouble. go hard or go home.

I would question only $175 for install. May be TOO good a price. Pretty complex install if you do it right. Can really mess up your rearend if done poorly. I paid $325 for my install with new bearings, etc. Check out this site:
