Ehhhh I admit there are times I miss my little skittle. However, a girl at school was like "What kind of car do you drive?," I was like a SRT-4. She had no clue what the hell it was. Now if I tould her I drove a Mustang GT she would be on deez nuts [8D]. If you call the SRT-4 slow your ignorant. Its a well built car, and its simple as that. Speed can only make you so happy though. The Mustang GT has an irreplacable look, exhaust sounds, and name. While the SRT-4 can be replaced by anything thats fast. Just due to the fact that I bought the SRT-4 just to have a fast car. I didn't buy it for the looks or the name.

That about sums it up. I had 2600 bucks in mods, and beat a stock 03 cobra from a roll. He would't tell ya that though, because he did a ricer fly by after I let off at 120. After all it is just a neon . I was making 310WHP 290WTQ. If someone says, but what if the Cobra had 2600 bucks in mods? Look at the retail prices buddy, and STFU!

My 98 did the same thing. Everyone one here said they don't have one but they do. Even my 03 is governed at 120, unless i'm on crack. It sucks but a programmer will fix that

that sucks...because i can't afford a programmer, plus i'm trying to sell it. I wonder if there is any other way to fix this. But i wouldn't even know who to ask.

I have had mine up to 145mph... i think it cuts off at 147 from what i have heard...

what year is your car?? Because I know on my 98 you couldn't reset it even with a programmer. Maybe they have something now for it, but you don't need to go over 120 anyway lol[8D]

well i know i don't but it pisses me off, because i had a V6 that didn't cut off before the mustang. I was playing around with a friend of mine on the interstate one night at like 3:00am...he has a dodge truck with a 360 in it. Well we raced from a 30 kick, and of course i absolutely left him, but once we got up to speed my car cut off, and his kept going. THat truck will run 360 like its nothing. So of course he always gives me hell about it, because that's the only thing he has over my car.

Highest I took my car upto was 140...it was pulling hard upto 140 but dropped off noticably at that point, so I let off.

A car on a dyno faces no wind resistance so you can achieve a much higher "speed" than you would on a road. And if you try to tell me that it was a corrected speed then you're just bull ****ting.
