as long as you use a name brand, it doesnt matter really. fork out the extra 5 cents a gallon for shell, chevron, or texaco, rather than race track or crown. i have never liked either of them, and the only 2 major companies the government doesnt do business with. wonder why? find one that tickles your fancy and stick with it.

From what I hear in previous threads, Shell has something in it that damages engines with continuous use. Something that clogs or coats the valves or something. Cant remember exactly. But in the end I guess Shell had to pay out a lot for new engines or repairs.

well i stop where the gas is cheapest.. Im to poor to pay 185 for unlead when i can get 165 for unlead. After 30 gallons in one car and 35 in the 2 others and feeling twice a week..I have a165 k on my van so i dunno maybe if i owned a car over 30 k i might sweat the dumb stuff but i have no problems with gas.Im sure there are places with problems but when i worked for Diamond shamrock aka 7 eleven they made a few stops one of them was Chevron stations and ours.. So go figure.Maybe thats just Texas though.[8D]

Shell has a new fuel out called V-Power or something like that. It cleans your engine 4 times more than regular fuel. It basically gives it a enema.

BP Amoco, Mobile, Shell most of the big names have good gas. Just stay away from the cheapies like Citgo.

Although I don't always use it I like using Exon just because tigers are my fav animal. So I guess what I'm trying to say is as long as its one of the big boys and not Bobs Budget Gas you should be ok.
