Anoying engine rattle

Anoying engine rattle
I have a 2001 GT and everytime I give it enough gas (lets say 1/2 throttle or more) I get this rattle snake type sound from the engine bay on the driver side of the car. It seems to be more noticable at low RMPs but probably only becuase of other engine/exhaust noise. Any thoughts of what it could be?

RE: Anoying engine rattle
Sounds like you should try running 93 octane.
If that doesn't clear it up, you should look into your exhaust and check for leaks.
Explain the rattle.... it could be heat shields...anything..

The sound is like the rattle of a rattle snake or a maraca being shaken very fast. And its coming from right in front of me, so like right behind the dash on the other side of the firewall im guessing.

Is there a limit to how young you had to be for a qualifying story?

The only thing I had that sounded like sand was in it, was the panhard rod...
Replaced that with a J&M.
I had some noise on stopping, sounded like it was up front, but was the
rear LCAs. I replaced them with BMRs, and it went away. All I have now
is that caliper plunger noise.
