How fast can you guys get up to in 1st gear with 4.10's? I get up to like 10 mph then I have to shift. I feel like I go no where. Sometimes it makes me want a less steep gear.

I know what you mean. I have the same gear.If I'm taking it easy, I just shift around 10mph.

at 110 in 5th gear I'm at like 4k rpm. stocks you are supposed to be able to get up to like 35-40 mph i think......

ummm i don't think you hit red line at10mph, in my buddy's car it's more like 30ish and stock gears are around forty-something

I feel just like you. And I think last time I ran on the hwy I ran out of 4th gear right at 110mph

hmmm yea maybe feel like I go no where, cuz it revs so quick. I've actually never experienced stock gears in a Mustang. I've only driven with 4.10's, since I bought it like that. Is there really a big difference in speeds?

Yep with my 4.10's a lot of times I don't even bother with 1st gear if it's flat or I'm slightly rolling. Otherwise it's shift around 10mph if I'm just cruisin.

has anyone on here ever taken out their 4.10's for anything less, like a 3.73, or 3.55 or back to stock 3.27s?

anyhow, yeah thats why im going with 373s.
because i started with stock gears, and i know 410s are too much if you drive your stang much. IMO
go 410s if u want a dragcar or if your staying N/A and can deal with the high rpms.

im sure if u had a lower gear they would be a little better.
and at 110 ure like 4k rpms? not too bad right? they make your fifth gear seem longer.
