Default Does 13.8 sound right?

I have an 02 GT that I bought from a local dealership & they were unsure of the modifications.

From what I can tell, it has magnaflow exhaust & an x-pipe. It also has a K&N Filter & the manifolds appear to be coated so I would assume they are actually headers.

I ran a 13.8 @ 103 with a 2.1 60' with the stock tires & 5 speed, last night.

Do these numbers sound right for these mods? Also, how well do the 4.6's respond to an CAI system? I've been a Chevy guy as my previous car was a fully resto'd 88 Iroc-z Convertible with a 250hp/350tq (yes, that baby was a whole-shot king) blueprinted & balanced 312 engine. This is my first time with a Ford, so I don't have any experience with these at all.

whats up dan...im a former IROC-Z owner myself. all origional yellow 86....but on june 8th 03 my buddy wrapped it around a telephone pole. i think 13.8 is a good time, i belive my stang would run close to that, if i could get traction, and maybe some more launching practice. throw an 80mm mass in with the CAI, andi think you'll notice a difference worth the money.

Welcome to the mustang. There is a huge debate about CAI and our cars. Some think they work, some dont. I have one, I noticed quicker throttle response, so I like mine. I havnt had it Dynoed so I dont know how much I got from it. You can remove the air silencer on it to open up the air inlet hole. As far as a MAF, I would hold off until you blow it if that is your goal. Are the headers long tubes? If not, get them. Find out what gears you have in the rear end as well. If you have the stock 3.27's, get new gears. I would suggest 3.73 if you are going forced induction and 4.10 if you want to stay NA.
