does anyone know if there any good or just a waste of money?

The only thing I know is what a Ford service guy said. All the blown engines they've had were running on Jet modules.

Generic chips are just that,generic.You can get firmer shift points if you have and auto trans but the real power increases will be minimal.You could also fall victim to an aggressive tune that destroys your engine.There's no substitute for a good dyno tune.
