Ok i know this is tech, but as many have said before the street/strip is dead. I was heading down 19 in palm harbor and a mustang gt with rims, a pillar gauges, and stuff started antaginizing me so i went for it. We were just messin around for a while, then we had a chance to race, i pulled up on him (60mph) and before i got to him he floors it. So i hit it and slowly but surely pull past him, ending at about 120.. One of my questions is: Did he have a supercharger for those gauges, or were they for show. If he didnt whats the stock hp for the 96-98 gt's.

98 makes 225bhp

not trying to start ne thing i know we should be cleaning up this section, but i think this is condiered tech....mabee not 100% mechanical question....but has to do with a 4.6....imo

You don't have enough information to know weither or not he had a supercharger.

There are plenty of different routes he could have gone to beat you, anything from the right combo of boltons/engine work to nitrous to a blower.
