free shorties worth the trouble of install

ok are free shorties worth it i know they're not much if any on the power gain but do u think they would add some throat to the sound i already have a bassani x pipe and slp loud mouth or should i just say screw it and not even bother

IF they are equal length and at least 1-5/8" size, I would say go for them as any header is less restrictive than the stock one with the pinched in pipes right at the port exits.

You guys have to remember, not everyone can throw $1200+ at a full exhaust setup. Not everyone has that luxery to do so.

shorties are usually around $100 less than lt's. plus the mid-pipes for lt's are usually cheaper than for shorties. why not go all the way??? If its free do it. if not, you're outta your mind to not spend the extra money.
