you could do what im doing..get some headers down to off road x pipe without cats and to the 40 series flowmasters and have them go into turn downs right after the rear end..i heard a 98 cobra with that setup and all i could say was oh my god..it sounded like a nascar

I say flowmasters, I'm one for flowmaster catbacks, I can't see how you could go wrong with them, esspecially for the money. Tho, I haven't had any experience with bassani on a mustang. My brother has an 88 vette which he was either going to buy flow 50's or the bassani setup. I heard the bassani setup for that, and it was just as quiet as stock...the flow 50's are louder which is what he bought.

Between flowmasters and bassani, the bassani will flow better, but if you want the best flow, I think magnaflows are the best you can get.

Performance - straight through exhaust such as Bassani, Magnaflow, DynoMax, Borla

Sound - Chambered such as FlowMaster, Mac etc.

I have Bassani mid-length headers, a Bassani x-pipe, & a Magnaflow cat-back on my '02 GT.
