More air? Get a blower. But the plastic air intakes make virtually no more horsepower than the bbk or mac chrome intakes, even if the piping heats up a bit. Why? Well its obvious really - the air going through your intake takes a second or 2 to travel from your filter to your manifold, and that is nowhere near enough time for the chrome tubing to heat it up.
