Default Video of my engine problem- What's wrong?

Ok watch this and listen to the sound.. Noise started after an oil change, went to a thicker oil this last oil change and it didn't make a difference. Only does it when I start it up when it's cold after it warms up it doesn't make a noise. Any ideas? I took it to the dealer and they were clueless. The exhaust bolts are tight.. Make sure to watch what happens as I remove the oil cap....

how many miles are on it? have you tried lucas?

I've had 3 fords all have some sort of morning rattle especially my mustang i have to stay below 1500 rpms for about 3 miles untill the knock goes away..... but i know there are nylon gears around the timing chain they could be worn and untill lubed up can cause a rattle but i've never heard anything like that though

cam caps? maybe i really don' know

I have a 96 GT , and I had a tick like that , turns out it was a spark plug arcing. Check things like that, sometimes its hard to distinguish where its really comming from, over all the other noice. Also if you think you know where the problem is. Take a "long" strew driver and put it on the problem area, and place your ear to the handle, you can hear whats goin on inside. I would place it on the injectors and your alternator. Anything that could tick. Hope any of that helps.

sounds like a valve... try some belt quiet and see if that makes a diference... check all your lines, in the vid sounds like it gets louder with the oil cap off... like a valve

You can try going synthetic oil if you hadn't already done so with your next oil change.

I really would like to fix it rather then just make it go away.. I plan on keeping the car for a while...
