I took your advice and did some searching on wheels and tires.. I haven't been on this forum in quite some time so i'm not real good at navigating... But i found a great read by " Jazzer the Cat". Thanks

Not necessarily true

The grip of a tire will change, based on the size of wheel and width of wheel, in which it is installed. Example: Take a 275/35/18" tire on a 9" wide wheel on one of two IDENTICAL cars. Take a 255/35/18" tire on a 9" wheel on the other car. The 255's WILL perform better in the corners. Now.... the slightly higher profile of the 275's will probably be a bit of an advantage off the line, but not in the corners. Maybe you were speaking of off-the-line, but to say that more tire is automatically better grip, is just not true.

i have a staggered fit as of now since i didnt have enough money to spring for the 18 front the car currently has the factory 17x8 's up front and 18x10's in the rear when it comes time to buy tires ill go ahead and do 18x9's in the front

295/40/18
