Default C&L intake Plenum

Im thinking about buying a new intake plenum from C&L from a friend for $140. I have a few questions.
1. Is this a good cost?
2. Will it work with my stock TB?
3. What gains could I expect with just a plenum upgrade without the TB?

can someone please answer his post... im wondering the same thing, would it be too much of a jump to gain? would you lose HP if adding the plenum too soon on a stock motor? do you need to get the massair and TB also to get any gain?

yes it will work i have the same setup don't get the 75mm tb they normaly sell with it it is too much if u do get a tb get a 70mm i don't know the exact gain alone but i have the stuff u see below and i made 256rwhp not a rocket but quite a bit better than stock. but when i got the plenum i noticed an immiedate diffrence better throttle response also

a c&L plenum at any time is a good idea. All it does is allow for more airflow, by removing restrictions.

I have seen the plenum swaps for 7-10 hp, and then a 75mm T/B only gaining 2-3 more rwhp. The throttle body does not appear to be a large restriction on a bolt ons only motor.

What do you guys think of the accufab product? I like the way it looks a lot better than the c&l but I wouldnt buy something just because it looks better. Id rather have more power!
