Also I don't think Ford is going to be bought, they are worth a lot with the other companies they own. Unless they are selling the Ford name and keeping Jaguar, Land Rover, Lincoln...etc. The day Ford is sold to a Japanese company is the day I die. I'm being a little to hard, Toyota does make good cars and trucks although I'm sticking with American.

if gm can survive i'm sure ford will survive. if a japanese company buys out ford i'm selling every ford car i have and will never buy another one again. there is a reason i didn't buy a japanese car to begin with.

I agree with all of you, I never have, don't, or never will own an import (even though they are made better).

id rather have toyota buy ford out then merge with gm.

in all fairness the dealers charge 90.00 to 120.00 per hour, plus your paying to use their machine ($5000.00) that actually does the program for them, it is not as simple as wait for the light to stop flashing, next tim remember you could have got a sct tuner ($380.00)and just had the tuner turn off the pats system

Ford = $12.6 billion loss
Toyota = $14 billion profit.
Ford = UAW; Toyota=non-union
What do you think will happen? Toyota doesn't need Ford or it's market share.
Ford has mortgage everything they have to remain afloat. They don't have product. Popular does not equal profitable. The F150 was introduced $1000 dollars higher in cost than the previous version in a shrinking market. The new Silverado/Sierra is going to breat them in sales and profit. GM already owns the SUV market. (BTW - I used to work for GM). I love my Stang, though.
