Ok, so i dont hate ford, but after what i just went through i feel like they are just trying to gouge you for every last penny (at the dealership anyways) Those of you read my key chip thread about how i lost the chip and how sense it was my last key they had to reprogram two keys for a total of 180$... After searching and searching the internet i found the answer to my problem, and the fix was only 25$(the cost of two keys) The programming instructions are so simple a 3rd grader could do them, and the ".8 hour of work" the technitian does consists of simply turning the key on and off, and waiting for the theft light to stop flashing (15 minutes, 3 times) what a joke... It was the most simple thing and the dealership is going to tell me (as all of you, because no one else knew either) that i had to TOW it to them and then pay them 180$, what a joke... Sorry for the venting, but if i would have found this info after i paid all that money i would really be pissed... Now i have two perfectly working keys...

yea lately i h8ford almost as much as chevy. i cant wait for them to wake up and start selling cars again and not bullsh*t.

haha yea i kno, it dont look good for them, but they wont go bankrupt its friggin ford, they will just continue to keep getting smaller until they can balance themselves.

Um Ford will NEVER go out of buisness sorry. Their trucks sell way to well. Keep wishing though.
