i had never even heard of "missing a gear/shift" untill i got my GT, and would miss 3rd. and of course....it would only happen at the worse times....racing. embarassing. got the steeda tri-ax, and have been able to nail all gears every since.

had that problem with the 3rd gear too before and I installed the MGW Shifter: works like a charm and I never miss ANY gear now.

EDIT: I havn't tested out the tri-ax shifter or Pro 5.0 but I recommend the MGW to anyone. It works really nicely and the service I had from them was great.

ahah yea i guess so..well in my 85 id use to be able to chirp and bark 1st thru 4th but id always miss third witht hat damn hurst...lol always in front of my buddys oto..ahaha

I would rather hear nails on a chalkboard instead of hearing the teeth on the tranny grinding when you dont put it in gear all the way and let off the clutch.

Everytime I did it, it sent shivers down my spine.

Lets hope the MGW fixes that, its on, but its still !@#$%ing snowing.

u want MGW shifter it is the best shifter out there and has an adjustable arm to suit anyones needs. I love mine and never miss 3rd. No more row boat action from 1st to 2nd gear or any gear for that matter.

Just push it up after second it should go right in i have a problem going into 4th its a little tight but i need a tranny rebuild anybody kno how much that costs
