Default SCT LiveWire

So SCT's latest tuner is out. I doubt anyone has it yet but I wanted to know what everyone who has an opinion has to say about it. I'll probably be getting a tuner in a few months so maybe this will be worth the extra money or maybe not.

It's definitely better looking. It would look neat in the dash or wherever you decided to mount it if you wanted to. Built in shiftlight and A/F ratio monitoring. Pretty fancy!

And can someone explain the whole tuner and ecu flashing limit to me? I read that you can only flash the ecu so many times but does that mean if you use the SCT to change your gear ratio after getting 4.10s then that takes an entire flash to do? And then you're left with one less flash you can do to the computer?

well damn, if that's the case I'll probably get a tuner when I get gears. I'll get a mail order tune with it when I first buy it. Who has had good experience with mail order tunes and where did you buy from? Thanks.

What I don't like is that there is no way to keep the customs tunes in a backup on your laptop or something.

Case in point, it comes with the stock SCT tune. I ordered three tunes (safe, moderate, power) from JMS. I added some mods and ordered a new tune from Brenspeed.

I had to over-write one of the JMS tunes in order to get the Brenspeed tune on the device. No option to keep the JMS tune before I did that.
