Default RE: Fox body springs?

I want springs that will help with weight transfer AND lower my car...so pretty much every lowering spring available is out, since they will negatively effect my launch...
Can fox body springs be used for daily drivers? And where can you buy them?

Default RE: Fox body springs?

Here's the weight transfer you're wanting........
Here's what will get it for you.......
Fox-body 4cyl springs (NAPA #270-3060) up front w/ Lakewood 90/10 struts
Fox-body V8 rear springs (cut to desired height) w/ Monroe Sensi-trac shocks
Airbag in RR spring
No front swaybar
UPR sub-frame connectors
Steeda 4600 Lower Control Arms
D&D adjustable uppers
Torque boxes welded
No quad shocks

Here's the drop, around 1 1/2"

Hey JayC, how many coils did you clip off the rear? And how did you cut it? Nice run

+1. And did you use foxbody or regular shocks and struts?

No quad shocks
Is the quad-shocks the stock set up? How do you remove them? Did you just switch them for single shocks?

Thanks for the kind words[8D] The rear springs were cut 1 1/2 turns with a grinder with a slitting wheel. I pulled them out 3 times and cut only 1/2 turn at a time to make sure I didn't over cut.

Yes the shock and struts are Fox length. The quad shocks are the small horizontal shocks on the read axle housing. They are easily removed by pulling the wheel and removing 2 bolts each. They should not be removed until you have at least aftermarket lower control arms

What is the benefit of removing them? And why after the LCA's? How would the foxbody springs compare to FRPP C-Springs (weight distribution wise)?

Removes dead weight. The LCA's will control wheel-hop. C-Springs give a similiar drop without the weight transfer....they suck at the track
