Default 01 gt to 03 mach 1

i have a 01 gt supercharged and dynoed at around 390 hp but it has 65,000 miles on it and is starting to feel old. so lately i have been wanting to get a newer 2003 mach 1 with alot less miles on it so i feel like i have a nicer and newer car. but im jst wondering am i going to be really disappointed with the mach 1 or is it still a pretty fast car. thanks

Find one and test drive it. Then make your decision.

Get your heads reworked (port and polished) or buy some stage III's, and get some cams...wahlah new car. Hell buy some bigger injectors, there is nothing wrong with your car asis, you will hate yourself forever if you have to start over from scratch

I went from a 94 mustang GT 5.0L to a 2003 Mach 1 and was very very impressed. I love the Mach 1, plenty of power for me, but going from 390hp to 305 I don't know...

03 Mach1 has the same short block as your GT, but it does have 4v heads.

If you want over 400 rwhp, you need a forged rotating assembly (as in the Cobra).

You can supercharge the Mach1, and make lots more power, but it won't last very long.

the mach 1 is going to feel like a dog compared to a 390RWHP GT.

You can buy new seats for your car, aftermarket leather racing seats are 1000million times better than oem pleather. Then there's KATZKIN?

You will be loosing 100 rwhp in the trade. You could easily buy some new aftermarket seats that look even better and allow for some sweet racing harnesses. You can also easily get it repainted. You won't get what you want for your GT either. You could paint your car and get new seats cheaper than buying a Mach 1.

my car dosent feel old or look old inside I guess you just need to take care of your leather a little better. I have also heard that its harder to supercharge a mach 1
