Buy a new fender/bumper and have it painted at ford. He's under his parents insurance and you did the right thing by getting a police report. That's BS.

Man, that sucks. I park away from dumbasses at school for that reason alone. I saw some dumbass speedin through the parking lot at lunch, some guy pulls out of his spot and nicks his corner, had to call the police. The kid was soo shooken up, it was hilarious.

Get a Cobra Bumper! I wouldn't care if somebody hits me so I can get another bumper! It's fading and and 03 would look sick on my car.

Cheapest around. They have to replace whole bumper. And fender needs work.
Whats the bumper cost? 400 at ford. 100 dollars for paint and supplies(very generous), Maybe an hours worth of body work on the fender(100). So they are making 600? Hmmmmm.Oh and they can fix that bumper.

Well this is where I got my bodywork done before (3 months ago) and they did an awesome job! And the bumper cant be fixed has a tear in it. And its at the weakest point. He said he could try but after 2 months it would jsut crack again. Since its a extremly weak spot. He isnt even umbrellaed under his parents insurance. He's a freaking idiot. I was calm at first. But after looking at it more just wanted to beat his face in. My Auto teacher was sooo ****ing mad at him.

you obviously dont know painting, (not to insult you) but to paint anything (if your buying the supplies (no left overs of any sort) its hard to paint anything for under 250.

there insurance is still responsible in most states the parents are responsible for the actions of there minors and iff the child has a debt it basically become s the parents debt if all else fails and u have full coverage have ur insurance pay for it and have them sue for you thats what they are there for

Okay how many cars have you helped paint? I have helped to prep(sanding and body work) around 15 cars for paint. I know that I am not a pro and dont claim to be. But i know that it wont take 1200 to fix that car. So you obviously dont know anything about paint. Do you think the body shop he takes the car too wont use left overs? I gurantee they will use left over clear. They can fix the crack in the bumper with epoxy. The fender is just scratched and has very minor damage. Oh and the cars I helped to prep for paint are salvaged title cars. So yes i have done body work.
