Off road X or H pipe

Off road X or H pipe
I live in PA, but i have noticed that a lot of the guys here ride around in O/R H or X pipes. How is that because i know that in PA its illegal to do that because of emission testing? Do you not have emission testing and if so how do you get around it without replacing the exhaust system for the inspection? Thanks guys.

ive had em both and i prefer the H....i might be biased but i just think it had a better sound at higher rpms. but honestly other than that they are about the same. ooh and the X seems to hang a bit lower

Anywho... if you can find a mechanic you can slip him $20 and he will pass it... personally i like my catted h pipe i dont need an o/r h to be loud. im sure ill see more gains but whatever.
