Default exhaust leak ?

Ok after I installed my full exhaust... a couple of weeks later I heard a noise that sounds like a turkey or something idk how to explain it... and now its getting louder and louder... and to get the noise to stop I jus push the clutch in and it goes away.. So is there a distinctive noise to tell for an exhaust leak or what?

That sounds like what I am going through, and I have been told it is an exhaust leak, but not sure yet

It could be a burst of air because when I shift I here a burst andit kinda reminds me of a blow off valve.... so I gues imma have to take it to da pros to tightin my bolts

tightning wont do anything, i tightend mine down with an impact and it still leaked. you'll either need new mainifold studs or get some headers.

Exhaust systems on these 4.6's suck.
I was in a jam on mine and had to reverse the studs to get the damn manifold to mid pipe to seal right.
I still dont see why the hell ford didnt put headers on these cars to begin with

Mex69, I know you saw my thread on my exhaust leak. From all the input everyone's been giving me here, and info on my other forum that I've found, you'll need to first retighten the bolts and see if it stops. If not, then try replacing the gasket all together. These were the two most common solutions everyone has suggested. I hope this solves both of our problems.
