Default Greasing up the suspension..

Well since the weather is starting to break here in Pa and the snow is melting away....i figure today is a good day to change the fuel filter and grease up my squeaky suspension...i was at work the other day and i "borrowed" a cylinder of mobil 1 grease...it says it's designed for use with automotive bearings and chassis components so i think i'm good....can anyone suggest any certain spots togrease or not togrease while i'm under there?....i'll check back throughout the day and hope i don't screw anything up...thanks guys

nahh, grease is just grease! You can mix that stuff up.Hit the balljoints and if you have greasable uppers/lowers Thats the only greasable poarts on mustangs other than the hinges on doors and hood!

if you dont have quirk fittings then you can undo the bolts on the u/l ca's and dab those in grease and that will cut down on a lot of rear squeaks, just make sure you torque back to spec with suspension loaded...

It's mostly hardware that needs to be greased, if anything.. Only issue w/ that is, a lot of the rear suspension components are a bitch to get at, but w/ some patience, and some good tools, you could do it in an hour or so...

The front isn't too bad..

They're called Zirk fittings BTW... A lot of cars don't have them from the factory, since the EPA won't let them (to my knowledge).. If you have aftermarket Control arms and/or balljoints, they usually come w/ them though..
