Default exhaust dilemna!! please help!!!!

well i just ordered a set of magnaflow catbacks (the regular ones). and when i went to the guy who is puttin em on. we found out i had flowmasters already on the car. the dilemna is the flowmasters are mufflers only. its not the whole catback system. i still have the stock pipes connected to the mufflers. the sound is descent, but i thought i still had stock mufflers. what differences will i see with a whole catback system compared to just mufflers. any sound or gains? the car sounds pretty good now, but i would like a little louder and deeper. what are my options. should i install the magnaflows and bite the $350.00 or should i just keep the flowmaster mufflers and use the money for another mod. i guess i could also buy a new h- pipe, but if im going to do that i should have the whole catbacksystem instead of just mufflersright? any opinions are welcome and sorry for the long post.buti cannot decide what to do.

Having the whole catback will sound better as a whole than just the mufflers. Remember that stock piping is 2.25" whereas the Magnaflow is 2.5".

the flows will sound better than the magnas (in my opinion)....if you wanted to beef your sound up, you should have gotten an h pipe...that will REALLY bring the sound out. here is how my stang sounded with just welded in flows, mac o/r h pipe, and cai. enjoy! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=giAUwj5peDQ
