I've done research and the car has 260 crank so 220rw stock, add 15 5rw if your lucky for the underdrive pulleys, and add 10 3rw if your lucky for the cold air intake.
so thats 220rw + 5rw + 3rw ..... 230rw at the most!
Why is there a rw after your numbers? Guys, I've got a Muscle Mustang and Fast Fords magazine in front of my and this is what they say. And your telling me these mods decrease the horse power?

Rear Wheel Horse Power.

The engine horsepower and wheel horsepower are different.
All the mods are usually tested and dynoed on a 4V Cobra motor which responds extremely well to mods unlike the 4.6 2V SOHC.

The GT is listed at 260 engine horsepower which is only like ~220rwhp.
Same with the mods, the cai is rated at like 10 engine hp on a cobra, but only like 6 on a GT which transfers to only like ~2rwhp net gain.

Hi. I just found this forum. I bought my mustang about4 months ago, and now I've paid it off and am looking to make it faster.

I bought it with a MAC cold air intake and Steeda Underdrive pulleys. I haven't really raced anyone yet as I'm in Chicago and it's been snowing. As it stands now it's got about 285 horse power. What are some othermods I can do to it?
Bro you need to do some REAL research before you make a fool of yourself.....

It's alright, the whole point of a forum is for people to LEARN and not to be ridiculed by others.
He just went by what he read in a mustang magazine.
He is correct but not in the sense he thinks he is.
