There is this shifter the forum told me about called MGV. I would recommend that one. Don't go for the tri-axe shifter(unless you are short on funds), that is what i have and didn't noticed any difference.[:'(]
try getting a smaller shift pole (the part that you put the shift nozzle on) because my friend had the same thing. he barely noticed a difference and then he got a smaller pole and it shortened it up SO much
Hmmm.....I will have to check into that Thax

im gunna get the mgw...how longs the shiipping take from the site bjh, any idea?
no idea... i would say prob about a week if you get the standard shipping, which is $8, or you can upgrade to the 2 day shipping for $20. personally i would take the $20 because my shifter is broke and i need a new BAD but if yours works good then just do the standard

Had the MGW and hated it. Used friends tri-ax and loved it. Steeda was less knotchy(sp?) and shorter. Steeda +1000

MGW and I'm one happy owner here. Their customer service was fantastic, and was shipped and recieved on schedule. The fit, finish, and quality of the unit is a thing to behold. And installation was very straightforward and easy thanks to awesome instructions (took me awhile b/c it was my first time, but had no real problems). And the shifter is very quiet. Get the MGW inner dust boot cover and it's just a tad louder than stock. Could not imagine driving my car w/ the stock shifter anymore.
