RE: Missing a gear??
Only time I get a grinded sound is when:
1.) miss a shift (rarely happens and never happens now that I have the MGW shifter)
2.) cold weather driving. We had a HARSH winter in the Midwest and when things were really cold the TR3650 grinded a bit going into gear.

OK, right after it happened it was hard to get the shifter into 2nd gear the gear it spun in. But now i didnt drive for the rest of the day and now it seams fine. I know i probally destroyed some of the teeth on the syncors but you guys think it will still hold up for the long run?

RE: Missing a gear??
If it was just grinding because you let the clutch out before you got it all the way into gear, it should be fine. Obviously its not a good thing, but it shouldn't be the deat of your trans (assuming you pulled it into neutral/put in the clutch as soon as you realized what was happening).
