well your car isnt going to explode or anything, but with the amount of air and fuel that will be crammed inside ur engine, ur might have some misfires or detonation at the worst. the ngk's are really good plugs, and cant u install them urself?

FI companies test things before they go into a kit. If they included NGK plugs, it's for a reason. You can install them yourself. The biggest difference is probably the heat range. They will be one to two heat ranges colder than OEM. If you don't change them you may get detonation or spark knock.

K&N tests their stuff before they sell it, and they claim 15horsepower, but i get what youre saying, when u have that much air and fuel in ur engine u need some good double platinum plugs. and you will need a tune to make sure ur not running lean or rich

Yeah definetly get some NGK TR6s in there- they are 1 heat range colder than stock. If you run stock plugs you will get some detonation.

Not ot mention, if he didn't swap the plugs out he prolly didn't re-gap them from the stock .052" to the recommended .032-.035" range. If thats the case you will experience your spark being blown out under boost. Misfire FTL!
