i put it in mine. i like it. definately better than the stock plastic manifold
what makes it better? Do you have dyno results? I've heards of many people loosing power with it.
i did my whole intake at one time. cai, 75mm TB & Plenum, and the typhoon intake manifold. maybe that's y i noticed a pretty good increase in power.

I put the FIPK GEN 2 Intake. It was the one that showed the greatest gain in power for the Gt's, but i didn't even see the typhoon one?

I wouldn't buy a typhone intake i've heard so many negative things about them and the mani's don't really do much untill your either forcing air into it or you have heads and cams.

the main reason i got it was just the fact that the stock one is PLASTIC. plus i was buying a s/c at the time, but the guy tried screwing me outta my money, so that didn't fall through. only thing that sucks now is, i'm saving for a Kenne Bell 2.1 Big Bore S/C and the intake mani comes with it. therefore the typhoon will be coming off anyways.

We're discussing intake manifolds and not cold air intakes, slight difference.

I've got the Typhoon intake and it was easy to put on. I didn't really notice any difference with it, but I didn't notice any loss in performance either. I got mine because the stock one cracked and I needed something ASAP and didn't want to get another plastic intake (stock) or spend $1,300 on the P-51. If you already have it, go ahead and use it. Maybe get a dyno run before and after, to see if it did anything for you.
