with all the people i see modding Stangs, it always amazes me how many stock GTs that are still up for grabs.
anyways...congrats on the purchase. treat her well. i learned how to drive stick on my GT too. its one of my fondest memories probably lol. good luck with the car, and just a warning about the fever of modding your vehicle lol. i havent been able to stop [:-]

Congrats! And thats not a horrible price! Could have done better but oh well!
And about the people at school... Just dont tell anyone about it! For all they know they could walk by it and think itsa teachers car? 99% of the time people will leave your stuff alone if you dont brag about it.... Kids get jealous.

That's an awesome car, man. I'm looking for one still, either black or that color. I think I'm getting a deal on a black one, but I'm not too sure.
And as far as driving stick, do it the way I did. Find a small hill, get the car to the top, the rear of it pointing down. Let it roll back, then catch the clutch and move back up it. Just roll back and forth and once you master that you'll have NO trouble getting it on flat ground. I learned this way in a Wrangler, and the guy who taught me had a ****in' cliff in his back yard maybe 40 feel from the hill. It was real incentive to not screw up, lol.

That's the only thing I'd change about my car; I wish I had the 5 speed. I don't know how to drive a standard, yet, but I will learn, and my next will be a manual.
