Falken tires?

RE: Falken tires?
I ran Falken Ziex 502s and 512s on my Miatas, and have Ziex 245/45-17s and 275/40-17s on my '03 GT. Great all round tires at reasonable prices, the Falken RT-615 (used to be called the Azenis series) are ***** and all dry road high-performance road-racing tires. I had a set on my '92 Miata but in the Florida rain they were a first class ticket to seeing how well a Miata handled in off-road adventures!TheFK 451 (I think the FK 452 is the latest model) is essentially the same tire as the '512, very nearly the same tread pattern, but it's made for the "import" tuner market mostly inlarger (18" to 22") wheels--the 512 tops out at 18".

RE: Falken tires?
i have one you don't see too often. they are the Ze-329s. they are a special order, Big-O exclusive tire. 400 or 420 treadwear. W-rated. they are awesome. i have almost 18k miles on them already and they still have 50-60% tread and i drive HARD. lot of canyon runs with them and they are holding up great. they are also great in the rain. they are starting to get a little louder on the road noise, but i just turn up the stereo...it's not bad at all. i have 245/45s right now, but i will be ordering the 275/40 version of the same tire when these wear out. they come with a 1-year/40k mile warranty and free lifetime rotation/balancing/flat repair from any Big-O. also within the 1 year if you get a nail in the tire or whatever, and it is not repairable, they will replace it for free. i already had one replaced because of this and it was no problem. they had it in stock and i was out the door in 20 min. i highly recommend this tire. i think they were $128 a piece installed.

i had some falken Zeix 502s.. they sucked major D***.. they couldnt grip up front.. they just skated forward while i tried to turn hard at slow speeds.. they couldnt grip out back.. i could spin them at about a 15mph roll.. and the new tires i got dont do any of that.. they just stay stuck on the ground (bfg G-force Sports 275/40/17)
