Default GT , Mach 1 or Cobra

K well im 16. I want a fast car for my first car. such *** a cobra or a mach 1. But many people say its too much hp for me to handle and i will kill my self so im pretty sure i wont b getting a Cobra. THe Mach 1 and the GT and other cars r still Possible. How much " cheaper " is the GT then the Mach 1. I know performance wise its a killer, handling same? or diffrent. You see i want a fast car i just dont want 2 die in 1 or die anytime soon, so what do you guys Recomend, i want a 5-6 speed. Here by my house they remake the old stangs u know the boss and the mach 1's the 60's-70's. WHat do you guys recomend for me as a 16 Yr old to drive to school and everywhere else for me to start off with.
Options:

Mach 1, Cobra, Lightning, GT, Boss 429 or 302 69, or Mach 1 69 or 71.

I wuz thinking of some other cars from other manufatures such *** a saturn or a toyota but those cars dont really match up to my needs. I want a fast car to take out friends at my school but yet a car slow enought that it wont send me over a cliff. Any sugestions from you guys? from Ford or other manuafuteres.

now that i think about it.... you shouldn't even get a mustang. even if its a V6, as naive as you are your going to drive it like its a brand new cobra, and kill yourself regardless. as was said before, learn how to drive first, and get the mustang when you are able to handle and control that power, and when you can RESPECT it.

Get something slower to begin with. It'll make you appreciate your Stang ride when u finally get some experience behind ya. Or you could do like I did, get a brand new Ninja and wheelie all through the high school parking lot, and say $#%! a fast car. However the danger level increases 10 fold.

Now guys, you have to give some slack to this guy. Regardless to your views many people out there start out with mustangs, some GT and even cobras. My first car is my car now a 1996 GT, i'v had it for 2 years and havent even hit a curb yet (seriously), I love this car to death so when i want to race i bring it to our track. A 16 year old is not niave by default therfore should be able to take resposibilty towards their decisions in the car market. Go with the GT it's plenty of bang for your buck...

I don't think it's nieve to want a fast car.

I think it's STUPID to want a RWD domestic small block for a first car, expecially a newer one (let's face it, a '67 Imp with a 327 isn't THAT fast and would do FINE in a wreck...but the other car wouldn't).

I really think you should re-evaluate your position on a first car Tony.

Yep, instead of the old Impala crumbling and absorbing the impact, his body is going to absorb it all, especially in a high speed collision...heh
