TB spacers are a waste of money. I have the PP TB/Plenum and it works good, great value for the money. I will agree that14.1 @ 100with a 2.1 60' seems a little off. My best run was a14.285 @ 98with a 2.2 60', and that was without gears. Maybe it was because he has an auto.

they are stealing your money, basically they are copying old carb motors that used carb spacers, that aid in atomizing the fuel entering the manifold. a t/b spacer does nothing but make the air travel futher. dont waste your money. ive heard good and bad things about PP...bbk is good, and accufab is good. C & L makes a good one too.

Deal, do you live close to sea level? Because thats the only sense i can make of it. That or something is wrong with your car. Not trying to knock you, but with those gears you should be in the high 13's EASY.

Thanks for the info about the spacers, i didnt have a good feeling about them. I want to get the accufab, but i dont think its 300$ better than PP or BBK. Will decide in the morning with a few more of you guys replys. What bad things have you heard about PP? It looks like a really good product. No, its no C&L, but i am going to be getting close to the same horse as i would with any other.

Yeah I live pretty close to sea level, MS. Like I said though, I need to let some more air in the motor. I just got the car, and it has one of those 3$ paper air filters. Not even name brand. I have plenty of low end at the moment, just giving out top end. I will have another time in about 2 weeks with a cold air intake and 75mm Accufab throttle body and plenum. Seems like induction is the issue, it use to go dead if I would come to a quick stop, like it was putting out more air with the exhaust than I could take in with the stock air intake. All I had to do was move the idle in drive from 560 to 630 with the programmer, and no more issues with that. I think once the induction install, the times will be more accurate for given mods.

YES, your car cant breathe. Get you a K & N, an inlet tube, and that tb. Some NICE advice, www.rpmoutlet.com is selling BBK 75mm tb and Polished products plenum FOR 224!!!!! Hell the BBK costs 200! Its not on there website, they have the PP setup for 224 on there, but you can get the bbk tb and pp plenum if you ask (its in the latest Muscle Mustangs and Fast Fords) Theres you a NICE tip, and i hope you take advantage of it like i am. Take care, and let me know what you go with. rockycargola@yahoo.com

Go for it, you cant beat that price ANYWHERE for those 2 new!

What is the best Throttle body for a 1996 Cobra? The Accufab single blade, or the BBK twin 65mm ?
