Default I know this is a dumb question...

But what side of the engine is bank 1 and 2 on. I keep getting a trouble code (P0153 - Upstream heated O2 sensor slow response). I checked all the connections and checked for for exhuast leaks and all, but it still keeps coming back. Im gonna go out and buy a new one in a little while. Do you guys think a new one will fix the problem?

that IS a dumb question!

j/k

bank 1 is the passenger side of the car, you most likely need a new sensor if you're getting the slow response code

Forgot to add its for bank 2. When i typed the code in google, an OBD2 site came up and said bank 2 is the passenger side of the motor. I just wanna make sure this is correct.

well on these cars bank 1 is the passenger side of the car, so you'll need to replace the front driver-side sensor

Bank 2 is driver side, bank 1 is passenger side. It's opposite the gm motors...

I had this same problem even after changing O2 sensors so my tuner adjusted my SCT tune so it would wait till it warmed up, if this makes sense[8D]
