What does your friend drive? A honda or mits? Maybe a suzuki? Your friend needs to get educated. Your car weighs about 3600 pounds; roughly. With the stock 3.27 gear, thats alot more gas needed to get your car up to speed. A3.73 or even a 4.10 will get your car up to speed faster using less gas; thereby improving your gas milage ( as long as you dont hotdog it all over town) The only down fall to 3.73's and 4.10's is the hwy mpg's...they blow! Also a 3.73 is the best ALL-AROUND gear. You dont get the power like the 4.10 but you get an extra 1 or 2 mpg's. Hope that helped; now you can tell your friend he's stupid!
