A 5.4L V8 can get a brick to run low-low 12s, so in a mustang with the right suspension I dont see why 11s are impossible. The '00 Cobra Rs ran mid-low 12s with the 5.4L

Pretty much as well as any good modded motor.... But a 5.4........ I think that kinda over did it a little bit.... You could have achieved just as much power and saved quite a bit of money just going 283ci or a 302ci. No need to go that big of a motor on a 2v.

Yes the Cobra R ran low 12's stock, and that was with a N/A 5.4 with 385hp, just think if you added a 2.1 intercooled KB to that thing, I bet you could hit 10's with DR's.

I don't think they are, they are supposed to bolt up, but I blame coolant/oil passages. Someone come along and clarify.

The 5.4 is just a 4.6 with a longer stroke.

I say BS who has ever made 650hp with nitrous using the plastic intake and stock 4.6 plenum?

thats what I was thinking when i saw the ebay page, must be running a BIG shot along with the 42 lb/hrs and the PS1c. Espcially on stock heads/intake I don't think a PS1C will make more than about 500 or so WHP.
