Default 2v to 4 v swap.

buddys got a 98gt and whats to put a
97 cobra motor in it . i got the whole 97 cobra here,

im not a computer guru. so anyone done this swap before!

only talking to people that auctally done the swap.!both 5 spd cars.duh.

wondering wbout the wiring harrnes to the computer and the eng fuse box , are they the same ?
and will the cobra cluster plug right in?
what about the fuel pump?
use cobra computer?

i was going to change everything all wiring etc. but if theres a short cut .i want to know ? thanks

you have to use the cobra harness/ecu/etc. The GT's computer does not have the ability to control the variable valve timing to open the secondary exhaust valves at 3200 rpms...

thanks .. i got the whole car if i got to change every thing ..o well. it a good frienf of mine really doing it for nothing 2g. thats incl. going though the motor for good internals.

i got 97 cobra parts for sale too. pm me .

LOL HES BUYING ALL THE PARTS
i got the rear end out of it for stripping it down.= 600 bucks
another 1500 for the swap over, and 500 to do the ,motor labor.plus i got lots of parts to sell off the car too., hes keeping the trans and ft brakes. so i fugire i can sell the some of the parts for the labor.so it will be more than 2g when im done .. i'll contact that guy ..thanks alot .. he wants to beat my 03 cobra, LOL!
