car wont start! HELP

friend of mine installed an o/r x on his 2007 gt and the car starts up and idles for a second at ~1500 then dies quickly. i told him he should wait to install untill he got some mils but he didnt listen to me. could having no mils do this? any other ideas

Are the o2 sensors installed and working correctly? He can't get it to run at all?

he said he put the o2 sensors back in no problems. the car starts up for just a couple of seconds then dies. maybe disconnecting the battery and wait 10 minutes?
