Default Coil Overs

I was looking through some pics of lowered mustangs and some people posted with coil over kits. They look awesome. How much would a decent coil over kit cost?Is this something i could install in my garage?

wow, 15oo is a bit steep. how much would i be looking at if i were to use springs?I want to go as low as possible and so im pretty sure i would need cc plates, shocks, and struts, plus the springs. And what the advantages of coil overs vs using springs?

MM coil overs, if your looking for performance, I would strongly suggest them.
If your going for looks, just get some springs/shocks/struts

If you get the right ones coil overs are adjustable height wise. They offer more adjustment and they perform better. On the other hand, for the price of a front end coilover setup you can do the entire suspension and have money left over for power mods

Holy Fu*king rip off. I paid less then $1500 for my set up and I got a Tubed K member, Tubed A arms, adjustable struts, coil over kit, coil springs, and CC plates. Maximum motorsports is good but in no way worth paying that much for their name. I have QA1 set up which is a very good product and a respected company in the racing industry.

oxford, more pics of your car? Im not so much going for performance. I think i would be happy with just the lower center of gravity of a drop. Can i i get the same look of a coil over setup from a spring set up ?And how much would good springs, shocks, cc plates, and struts cost me?

You cant get the same look. When I had the sportline springs in I had about a 2 in space between my tire and fender well. Now I have 1 in space. Im out of town right now so I dont have any pics here.

Here are some pics. https://mustangforums.com/m_3093388/...tm.htm#3093388

Thanks for the pics. Im thinking for the money i might go with the h&r springs. From what i hear they give a pretty nice drop.

if you buy a set of good adjustable shocks/struts/springs/caster camber plates...and pay to get it installed, that costs about $1200k. not much less than a coilover kit. i got deals on my KYB AGXs and Eibach Pro-kit (which i hate btw) so i paid to have it installed and aligned. cost me $700 altogether. i would have rather spend a few hundred more for the greatly superior coilovers if i could do it all over again.
