First offi have a 2001 gtmy car acts like its not getting air or fuel so i had my cats checked and they said they look fine. I can start off and press the gas my car will go but it hesitates badly my engine kinda shakes and it wont take off i believe i have got some gas with trash in it. i have put injector cleaner and ran 3 tanks of gas through it bit hasnt helped. you can feel it in the gas pedal and you can hear it in my pipes it gets kinda quiet and kinda has a blop blop blop sound when i mash the gas instead of the normal sound what should i do?

Have you checked your fuel pump, spark plugs, injectors?

i havent checked ne thing i changed the fuel filter. how do you check the injecters to see if any trash is in them or the fuel pump

Sounds like the fuel pump is on it`s way out.

check spark plugs and WIRES, my car was doing this two weeks ago and it was the wires!

The only thing that makes me think its not the wires and plugs is that sometimes it will run ok for a little while and then it will start messing up again whats up with that?

These 99-04`s don`t have regular spark plug wires.

i can be in 5th gear cruisn about 60 and put the gas to the floor and it wont go no where
