Default popping noise in front end- 03 convert cobra

I have noticed a popping noise after the vehicle sits and Iback up and turn. Can not make it make the noise. Can feel it in the steering wheel and hearing it from the front end. The rack and the struts are tight. Anyone come across this before? Thanks Daniel

i always hear a popping noise when i brake hard or go over a speed bump.. it might be your struts.. have you modded the suspension??

My g/f's 94 gt when you turn in the driveway or on another street her front end just starts cracking and popping and a mechanic looked at it and told us it was the rack and pinion. But thats just my two pennies

This happened to me just once, and it scared the life out of me because I thought I hit something.
Backing out of a spot and a sharp turn at thPuzzlinge same time.

It's never done it again and my car has less than 20k on it so it's not worn suspension parts.

I think it is a Mustang thing because I have heard others having similar experiences.
