Default Cat question? SLP LM1s

If I were to take two of the catalyic converters off of my stock midpipe and weld them into my Mac O/R h-pipe, how much will it quiet down my car? I currently have SLP LM1's with an O/R h-pipe. Also will the cats help tone down the annoying "machine gun" sound from 1,800 to about 2,500 rpms?

Thanks

To all SLP LM1 owners with a catted midpipe....do you get the annoying "clapping" / "machine gun" sound around 1,800-2,500 rpms?

that noise is gonna happen with any resanator style muffler. it happend with my lm2's and it happens with my magana packs now. thats why im getting bassani later down the road. i also have o/r h and longtube headers and had a lm2 catback but welded in magnapacks, not change in sound
